Congratulations Salem on achieving 4 STARS!!!!

Starting July 1, Small Wonders Discovery and Learning Center, a daycare center and pre-school with three locations in Columbiana county, will begin offering free diapers and wipes for infants and toddlers during their hours of care.

“We feel it’s very important to do as much as we can for the families we serve,” Says Leslie Schreiber, owner of Small Wonders. “Parents will save money and time without having to bring diapers and wipes. It simplifies things for us because we know that children will have the supplies they need all the time. That gives us more time to focus on the things that matter most, like teaching.”

The daycare began providing formula for children in 2011. In addition to providing these services, Small Wonders provides free meals for all children in their care.

Recently, Small Wonders’ Salem location was rated four out of five stars by Ohio’s Step Up to Quality Program, jointly run by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. A four star rating means high quality care, as well as individualized education plans for each child. The Salem location joins the center’s Leetonia location, already rated with four stars. The center’s newest location in Columbiana expects to be rated later this year.

Small Wonders Discovery and Learning Centers are located in Salem, Leetonia, and Columbiana, and care for children from birth to twelve years of age. More information on Small Wonders can be found on the web at
